Spanish startup Orbital Paradigm, founded in late 2023 by Francesco Cacciatore and Victor Gomez, has set out to solve one of the main challenges of the new space ecosystem: return transport from low Earth orbit (LEO). In a context of explosive growth of LEO activity, driven by mega-constellations, microgravity manufacturing, and the rise of commercial space stations, space logistics has become a critical piece of the economic and strategic future of space.
Orbital Paradigm is positioned as a provider of reusable return solutions, with a small re-entry capsule, hypersonic guidance and its own ceramic heat shield. Its proposal enables low acceleration and high precision landings, with the objective of facilitating fast and frequent recovery of payloads on European soil, key for space experimentation and production customers.
